"Leon" is a tradition at my mom and dad's.
Ever since I was a child, at Christmas, my mom put up a magnetic "Noel" on the fridge.
Then the game would begin to see who could change it to "Leon" the quickest without her seeing.
My mom would change it back to "Noel" when she went in the kitchen.
Us kids would change it back to "Leon" right after.
It became a fun and silly tradition throughout many Christmas seasons.
Now, this year, I know I have taught my daughter well in year's past, because the first thing she did
after walking in the door at her grandparents' (without taking off her shoes or coat),
was to go straight into the kitchen and make "Noel" into "Leon".
I smiled and laughed!
